I found this black-and-white photograph showing a bright, flattened oval shape against a dark sky, beneath an elongated cloud formation. A faint streak appears to extend from the shape toward the left. The landscape below includes a fence line and distant terrain. A marking in the lower-left corner reads “© 58 C. Lorenzen.” The location and circumstances of the original photograph remain unknown to me.

I encountered this photograph in a published collection of historical UFO sightings and purportedly declassified American government material. It shows a dark, unidentified silhouette above a mountainous ridgeline. The original location, date, photographer, and circumstances remain unknown. I did not personally witness the event depicted.
